Who We Are
Founder of Out of the Box Collective, Jennifer is committed to creating a sustainable local food distribution system for her community.
Born and raised in Washington DC, educated at Phillips Exeter Academy and Amherst College, Jennifer then lived in France, Portugal and then the UK for 23 years before moving to Malibu on New Year's Eve 2007.
Since returning to the US, in the midst of a financial and environmental meltdown, she is increasingly convinced of the fundamental role that our food systems play in the environment, our health, and our economy.
Mother of 3, film producer and screenwriter, and long-time supporter of local farmers, she is now taking a stand and trying to build a sustainable, user-friendly food system which will nourish and educate our children in particular, as well as moving our Food Dollars into our local community...
Viva la Food Revolucion!
A basketball coach at Oaks Christian by day, our produce buyer and delivery driver on Saturdays, and coordinator of orders and spreadsheets most afternoons, Tina also test-drives lots of the recipes, as on top of being a basketball champ, she's also been to Culinary School.
